I have silenced the chorus of "Mom can I...." for a while.  They are banished upstairs with a DVD and some fruit while I decompress for a few minutes.

I saw my doctor today; she's prescribed ranitidine to help prevent GI bleeds and stomach issues from the prednisone.  I don't like taking pills, feeling that I have to treat this and control that and prevent this, all with pills.  Bleh.  Also, she's booking me a bone density scan, and told me to take Tylenol arthritis when my thumb aches ( Read more... )

I'm trying to study.  I get through about half a page and catch myself looking for something else to do.  I have to write my graduation exam on Thursday so I really need to study.  But, I've found time to do laundry, dishes, unload the dishwasher, put away clothes, make another batch of buttercream frosting and balance my cheque book.
